After surgery you will be in our recovery room under the care of specially trained nurses.  You will be monitored by the nurse and anesthesiologist until you are ready for discharge.

The responsible adult accompanying you will be notified by the surgeon of the outcome.  They will also be contacted with discharge instructions and when you are ready to go home and rest. 

Written discharge instructions will be given to you and the responsible adult.
